"Car Dogs" will film in Phoenix, AZ beginning on November 8, 2013.
AB Media Publishing, LLC

Production is now set to begin on the indie feature film "Car Dogs" beginning on November 8, 2013. The award winning casting director is auditioning actors for co-starring, supporting, and day-player roles. The extras casting department is also now taking submissions from people of all ages including children and seniors, to appear in the film as fully paid general extras and featured background actors. Shooting is taking place in the Phoenix, Arizona area and will run through December 4, 2013.

"Car Dogs" takes a rare look at the funny and intensely dramatic world that is the car business. The drama in "Car Dogs" centers on a powerful father-son battle between the owner of a car dealership, John Chamberlain, and his son, Mark. John is a brilliant, callous businessman who is a vicious, overbearing father. Mark is the sales manager at Chamberlain Auto, the dealership that promises to do "Whatever IT Takes" to put you in a new car. But on a scorching hot Saturday in the middle of the Phoenix summer, Mark has a chance to get his own dealership, and out from under his father's thumb. But there is a catch - Mark has to sell thirty-five cars by the end of the day. The question is, will Mark do whatever it takes, including betraying his sales team and himself to get what he wants?

Starring in "Car Dogs" is Screen Actors Guild Awards nominee Patrick J. Adams playing the role of Mark Chamberlain. Adams is a series regular on the hit USA show "Suits" playing Mike Ross. Also starring in "Car Dogs" is Academy Award winner Octavia Spencer playing the role of Sharon. Spencer recently completed shooting the feature film "Black and White" starring opposite Kevin Costner and Jennifer Ehle. Grammy Awards nominee George Lopez has joined the cast playing the role of Christian, Gotham Awards nominee Dash Mihok will play Scott, and Josh Hopkins has been cast as Mike Reynolds.

Filmmaker Adam Collis is directing "Car Dogs" from an original screenplay written by Mark Edward King, based partially on his experiences working at car dealerships in the Scottsdale, AZ area. Collis is Visiting Professor of Film Directing at Arizona State University and Founder, CEO at The Director's Perspective Acting Studio. He has received awards and nominations from the Aspen Shortsfest, Austin Film Festival, Hamptons International Film Festival, Los Angeles Independent Film Festival, New York Comedy Festival, and Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films. Collis will also produce "Car Dogs" along with Adam Robinson and F. Miguel Valenti. David Breschel will co-produce. Timothy P. Haskins is executive producer.
