Story:

A time travel thriller, set in a near future where time travel doesn't exist but will be invented in a few decades. It involves a group of killers (called Loopers) who work for a crime syndicate in the future. Their bosses send their targets hogtied and blindfolded back in time to the Loopers, and their job is to simply shoot them in the head and dispose of the body. So the target vanishes from the future and the Loopers dispose of a corpse that doesn't technically exist, a very clean system. The complicated plot involves a Looper named Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) who works for this mob - called "the Gat Men," of the future. When he recognizes one victim as his future self (Bruce Willis), he hesitates, letting the man escape. In looper parlance, this is known as "letting the loop run" — and having a man from the future running around leads to other consequences. In order to save his immediate future, the man needs to track down and kill his future self, while his future self is trying to find and kill a young boy who is the key to his survival in the future. Emily Blunt will play the mother of the boy.

Columbia Pictures feature film reboot 'Spider-Man' auditions in full swing

Principal actor casting has been completed.

The main players for the upcoming production of "Spider-Man" are coming together for Columbia Pictures, however countless supporting and day player roles have yet to be cast, not to mention the hordes of extras, stand-ins, and photo doubles. Auditions are taking place out of Los Angeles, where filming will take place.

The Emmy Award nominated and seven time Casting Society of America Artios Award winning casting director Francine Maisler was been brought in to cast the Spider-Man reboot. The highly talented Mark Webb will direct the film. Webb was mostly known as a music video and short-film director until his feature length debut, (500) Days of Summer.

Originally there was plans for "Spiderman 4" with Sam Raimi attached to direct and Toby Maguire, Kirsten Dunst and other cast members set to reprise their roles. Sony Pictures announced in January 2010 that plans for Spider-Man 4 had been cancelled due to Raimi's withdrawal from the project. Raimi reportedly ended his participation due to doubt that he could meet the planned May 6, 2011 release date while upholding the film creatively. Simultaneous with the cancellation of Spider-Man 4, Sony announced that the franchise would be rebooted with a new director and new cast.

The film has had the working titles of "Untitled Spider-Man Reboot," and "Spiderman 2.0," but is currently being referred to as simply "Spider-Man". This of course is subject to change.

Shooting will take place in Los Angeles beginning December 6, 2010. The release date is scheduled for July 3, 2012.

Story:

"X-Men: First Class" is a prequel to the first three X-Men movies. It will take place during the 1960s and will parallel the history of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcolm X. Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.
