Academy Awardwinning Producer/Writer/Director James Cameron has officially announced on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 that his next two films will be Avatar 2 and Avatar 3. It was also announced that Avatar 2 is scheduled to be released in December 2014, and Avatar 3 is scheduled for a 2015 release.
Fox Filmed Entertainment chairmen Jim Gianopulos, Tom Rothman and James Cameron made the announcement on the two picture deal. Cameron stated, "I am looking forward to returning to Pandora, a world where our imaginations can run wild. It is a rare and remarkable opportunity when a filmmaker gets to build a fantasy world, and watch it grow, with the resources and partnership of a global media company."
James Cameron will shoot the movies starting in late 2011. He will decide whether to film the two sequels back to back after he wraps up the final drafts of the scripts. He also is teaming up with Jon Landau, a partner at Lightstorm Entertainment, to produce the film. Lightstorm partner Rae Sanchini negotiated the deal with Fox Filmed Entertainment on Lightstorm’s behalf.
The principal actor casting will in all likelihood be a very long process that will begin well ahead of the start of principal photography. The cast is expected to be very large with A-list stars down to completely unknown newcomers.

Sly Dog Films and BCDF Pictures are set to begin shooting the feature film "Lives of The Saints" on November 13, 2010. The movie stars John Lithgow and Meg Ryan, and will be filmed in and around Los Angeles, CA.
Sly Dog Films was created by producers Danny Leiner and producing partner Matt Tauber. Danny Leiner has a directing career that spans 20 years and includes both television and film. Tauber has worked in the theatre as either director or producer on over forty stage productions, and was also a Sundance Institute Screenwriting Fellow.
BCDF Pictures is a venture spearheaded by filmmakers Brice and Claude Dal Farra. They recently completed production on the feature film "Higher Ground" directed by and starring the beautiful and talented Vera Farmiga.
"Lives of The Saints" casting director, Nancy Nayor Battino, is seeking a Pakistani boy between 5 and 9 years of age who is small for his age and can ad-lib while auditioning for the role.

Open Casting Call for feature film 'Jack and Jill' starring Adam Sandler and Katie Holmes
Adam Sandler will play dual roles as twin brother and sister in his upcoming Columbia Pictures romantic comedy "Jack and Jill." The production is currently hiring extras in Los Angeles and will also be holding an open casting call in Fort Lauderdale, Florida seeking SAG and Non-Union people all ages and types.
The film also stars Katie Holmes as Sandler's wife. The role marks Holmes' first studio film since 2005’s “Batman Begins.” Dana Carvey, Regis Philbin, and Al Pacino all have cameos in the movie.
Columbia Pictures is financing and Sony Pictures Entertainment will be distributing the film. Todd Garner's Broken Road Productions is teaming with Sandler's Happy Madison Productions to share the production end of the project.
Dennis Dugan will direct Jack and Jill. Dugan has directed such films as Parenthood, Happy Gilmore, Beverly Hills Ninja, Grown Ups, and countless other films and television productions.
The release date is scheduled for November 11, 2011.

The film's extras casting directors is searching for hundreds of upscale looking men and women of all ages any ethnicity - singles, couples, and real families including children of all ages. Extras will receive $100 for 10 hours, plus time and a half for overtime. Fort Lauderdale shooting will begin the second week of November.
